GTA Online will no longer be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 starting December 16 this year

In a heartbreaking announcement that was made by Rockstar Games, they said that GTA Online of GTA 5 will no longer be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 starting December 16 of 2021.

Yes, that’s the last date.

They also said that Shark Cash Cards will no longer be purchasable on the consoles after September 15 2021.

It’s the end of an amazing era.

In a press release that was made by the company, they said that they will be shutting down GTA Online for PS3.

They also said that it will have no impact on access to or progress within the Grand Theft Auto V story mode.

The thing is, the online version of the game will be not accessible anymore after the date.

The PS3 has supported the game for for 8 years now.

GTA 5 was released in 2013 by Rockstar Games and considering that it had served PS3 players for 8 years, it was just time to turn it off for good now.

According to reports, the GTA 5 has sold 145 million units sold worldwide since it was released in 2013.

The figure includes sales of consoles and PC versions of the game.
