Twitter Tests Feature With Upvote And Downvote Reactions

New beta, new features!

Twitter has announced that they are currently working on something that may be liked by every person that’s using Twitter.

The company said recently that they are currently working on a new upvote and downvote reactions button for tweets accompanied by the usual options, which are retweet and reply.

The news was confirmed recently and they said that they are currently testing the feature for a small group of iOS users.

A bunch of users have also shared screenshots of the tweets and right now to be honest, they look pretty nice.

Twitter said that iOS users may see upvote and downvote buttons in a number of styles, which includes up and down arrows, a heart icon and a down arrow, and thumbs up and thumbs down icons.

They are testing the feature right now in order to understand the types of replies you find relevant in a conversation.

As of now, votes are not available for the public.

Twitter said they have not had any plans to add the up and down voting as a permanent feature.

Right now, Reddit is currently one of the most famous platforms on the internet that offers such feature.

Also, right now, they announced that the upvote and downvote buttons that some people have will not affect the tweets of people.

The thing is, this is not the first time the company has tested out changing interactions in the past.

Twitter toyed with other kinds of tweet interactions in the past, which includes the part where they made fun to the emoji reactions that Facebook, their rival, uses.
