Reddit is one of the largest social media platforms that can be used for free in the market right now, however, there are a number of downsides with using this platform, which includes the fact that it has content that can be called as not safe for work, which means it can be mature, it could be tough to watch and could be not suitable for everyone.

Luckily, despite having such content, you can do some things to remove the mature content on the platform by just doing a couple of things.

Below, we are going to list down some things that you can do in order to remove mature content on reddit in the simplest way possible.

Remove Mature Content Via Reddit

 First Step:

The first thing that you would have to do is open the application itself. If you do not have it, you can download it via Play Store or the App Store.

Second Step:

The second thing that you would have to do is click on your icon. You can find this on the top right corner of your screen. It should be on your avatar so you can open a new menu where you can find settings.

Third Step:

The third thing that you would do is click settings after the new menu appears. Clicking that would bring you to a new page, where you can change the settings.

Fourth Step:

The last thing that you would want to do is turn off NSFW by toggling the button that you will find there.

Disable Mature Content Via Settings (iOS Only)  

If you are using an IOS device, things are easier for you. All you have to do is open settings, go to Reddit by scrolling down and find where it says Reddit and simply turning off “show NSFW content”. That’s it, nothing else!

Remember, once you turn it off, some subreddits and posts may automatically get removed from the application because all mature content is going to be filtered out.
