8 Accessories Students Should Buy After Getting A New Smartphone – Phone Tips

As a student, you should have everything that could be rendered as useful during your school year, especially if you only use a mobile phone for research or for other school related work.

To help you in making your phone extremely usable, we are going to list down some of the most amazing accessories that students should have for their devices.

8 Accessories Students Should Have For Their Smartphones

1. Power bank

It is important for every student to have a power bank inside their house considering that they might need it at some point or in case they do not have any outlet available to plug in as they are using it. Not only that, but having a power bank can be really handy for you in case there is a power surge in the area that you are living in right now.

When buying a power bank, try to buy one that has at least 20,000 mAh, considering that you might need more.

The good side of going with this one is that you can charge your phone, your tablet and even other accessories inside your house.

2. Fast charger

The second one would be a fast charger.

Yes, you need this one, especially if you use your phone a lot.

Having a fast charger with you all the time inside your house is extremely important, considering that they can save you a lot of time and can be really useful for you if you are in a hurry and you need to leave the house but you forgot to charge your phone.

Try to buy a 20 watt or a 40 watt charger. If your phone supports USB Type C, you can go with that one too!

3. A good case

The third one is a good and strong case, considering that your phone needs to have a protector in case you drop them.

Which one are the best?

We suggest you to buy a shockproof case for your device. We preferably suggest you to buy one from Spigen, considering that they have an amazing amount of strong phone cases that can keep your device safe in case you drop them.

4. Screen protector

The fourth one is a screen protector.

If you own a flagship phone, you need to have this one, considering that the screen on that device is probably as expensive as the phone that you own.

Yep, believe it or not, screen replacements for flagship phones are pretty expensive and they can usually cost anywhere from 40 to 60 percent of the overall cost of the device that you already own. So to stay away from unnecessary costs, try to buy your phone a decent screen protector that can keep it protected during falls and scratches.

5. Headphones with a mic

The fifth one that we would like to list down here are a decent pair of headphones that have a pretty okay microphone.

If you are still attending online classes, you want to have a pair of headphones with a decent microphone so you can attend and take part of that lecture in the best way possible that there is. Also, headphones are great considering that they will help you keep outside noise out and a decent microphone will allow the lecturer to hear what you have to say in case you decide to answer or ask a question.

Note, it’s okay to buy some pretty normal headphones, considering that they have a nice microphone and all you need to do with them is listen to what the lecturer has to say.

6. Camera cover

If you are worried about safety, you want to buy this one.

A camera cover for the back of your phone can help you keep apps away from using your camera when you are not using them.

Try to go with just any normal camera cover that you can buy.

Please do note that right now, most of the camera covers only come for the rear camera setup your phone has.

7.USB Type-C Drive

If your phone has a USB type-c port, you want to buy a USB drive that has a type-c port.

This will help you save a lot of money when it comes to storage options, considering that a USB drive can hold anywhere from 32 to 128GB and having one with you means that you do not have to buy an SD Card or keep on deleting stuff from your phone just so you can store some important files that you need for school.

You can buy ones from SanDisk or Kingston. They come in a pretty decent quality and they can do the job for you!

8. Wireless charger

In case you do not like having a wire on your phone when it’s charging, buying a wireless charger is a good alternative that you can go with, however, the only downside with this one is that it is going to offer some pretty slow charging speeds.

Right now, wireless chargers are great, however they have some cap on them, meaning that they can only charge your phone up to a certain point and the speed could be pretty slow, similar with a normal brick charger that your phone got.
