WhatsApp has officially added the ability for iPhone users to migrate their chat history if they want to use it on a Samsung Android Device.

The latest update was confirmed by the company in a blog post.

Samsung also announced the feature during their August Unpacked event.

But how exactly can you migrate WhatsApp chats from an iPhone device to a Samsung Device in the easiest way possible?

How To Migrate WhatsApp Chats From iPhone To Samsung Device

First step:

The first thing that you would have to do is turn on your Samsung device it and connect it by cable to your iPhone when it has been prompted.

Second step:

The second thing that you would have to do is follow the Samsung Smarty Switch instructions.

Third step:

The third thing that you would have to do is scan the QR Code that is displayed on the new Samsung Device while using the iPhone’s camera when it has been prompted.

Fourth step:

The fourth thing that you would have to do is tap Start on your iPhone and wait for the process to complete.

Fifth step:

The fifth thing that you would have to do is continue to set up your new Samsung device.

Sixth step:

The sixth thing that you want to do is wait until you reach the home screen. Once that happens, open WhatsApp and log in by using the phone number that was being used on the iPhone device.

Seventh step:

The seventh thing that you want to do is tap import when the process has been prompted. Also, wait for the entire process to be complete.

Final step:

The last thing that you would have to do is wait till your new device get activated. Once that happens, your chats should now be available.

Important note: After you complete the migration, your old iPhone is still going to have your data on it unless you delete WhatsApp or you factory reset the device itself.
