It’s important to convert word files into PDFs, especially if you are sending that file to a number of people.

But how exactly can you do it?

Below, we are going to list down some steps that will help you out in converting a Microsoft Word Document file to a PDF while using Microsoft Word itself.

First step:

The first thing that you would have to do is open the document that you want to convert.

Second step:

The second thing that you would have to do is open the document that you want to convert and hit the “File” tab, which is located on the top left corner of your screen.

Third step:

The third thing that you would have to do is hit the “Save As” button that you will see once you hit the tab button.

Fourth step:

The fourth thing that you would have to do is select where you would like to save the file in.

Fifth step:

The fifth thing that you would have to do is click the dropdown arrow on the side of the “Save As Type” box and select “PDF” format from the dropdown menu.

Doing this will automatically save the word file in PDF format and would allow you to directly send it as a PDF file to anyone that you want to.
