An iPhone is a versatile device with many functionalities and now Google has made its image recognition mobile app the Google Lens more user-friendly and more easily accessible for iPhone users.

The app is designed to use visual analysis to identify real-world objects like buildings, signboards,  trees and plants, devices, books and much more by simply using the phone’s camera. The Google Lens is also capable of saving email addresses, looking up words and help in shopping searches, etc.

Till now the app was available in the Google Photos app only making it mandatory for a user to click a photo before taking the advantage of this functionality but now Google has included in the Google Search app on the iPhone making it more convenient for the users as they no longer have to click a picture before the service can identify an object. Just tapping the object you want to be identified is enough.
